Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Goats In Front Of Hut by Li Fuyuan for HKD 6,250 (€ 659). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 10,000 – 20,000 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Fuyuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 225,000 (€ 19,553).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Goats In Front Of Hut von Li Fuyuan für HKD 6.250 (€ 659) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000 – 20.000. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Fuyuan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 225.000 (€ 19.553).
