Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Goats by Li Fuyuan was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2012. The price achieved of HKD 93,750 (€ 9,333) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been given by the auction house as HKD 80,000 - 120,000. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Li Fuyuan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work , which sold at auction in April 2011 for HKD 225,000 (€ 19,553).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Goats von Li Fuyuan kam im Oktober 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 93.750 (€ 9.333) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000 – 120.000 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Li Fuyuan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit beobachtet, die im April 2011 für HKD 225.000 (€ 19.553) versteigert wurde.
