Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Goldfish by Li Fenggong was sold in the Asian Art auction at Bonhams in Sidney in April last year. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 2,706.00 (€ 2,568.09), 23% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Li Fenggong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Appreciating Fish At The Pavilion, which sold at auction in April 2016 for HKD 87,500.00 (€ 9,858.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Goldfish von Li Fenggong wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Asian Art bei Bonhams in Sidney versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 2.706,00 (€ 2.568,09) und damit 23% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Li Fenggong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Appreciating Fish At The Pavilion beobachtet, die im April 2016 für HKD 87.500,00 (€ 9.858,19) versteigert wurde.
