Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Li Fang was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in July 2020. The price achieved of HKD 38,125.00 (€ 4,177.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Fang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Watching The Clouds in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 517,500.00 (€ 48,130.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Li Fang wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 38.125,00 (€ 4.177,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Fang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Watching The Clouds im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 517.500,00 (€ 48.130,86).
