Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Fence" by LG Lundberg was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2017, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 15,000.00 (€ 1,537.91). Admittedly, works by LG Lundberg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Utanför Kymmendö (Hemsö)' in October this year with an auction result of SEK 80,000.00 (€ 6,775.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Fence" von LG Lundberg im Mai 2017 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 15.000,00 (€ 1.537,91) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von LG Lundberg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Utanför Kymmendö (Hemsö)' im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 80.000,00 (€ 6.775,17).
