In May 2016 Christies in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Peaches by Levi Wells Prentice. The result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 26,942.07) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Levi Wells Prentice - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View Of Blue Mountain Lake, which sold at auction in May 2019 for USD 87,500.00 (€ 78,482.38).

Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peaches von Levi Wells Prentice zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 26.942,07) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Levi Wells Prentice mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View Of Blue Mountain Lake beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für USD 87.500,00 (€ 78.482,38) versteigert wurde.
