The price achieved of USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,964.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Levi Wells Prentice have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View Of Blue Mountain Lake in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 78,482.38).
