In May 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction British & Irish Art, which included the work Roundstone by Letitia Marion Hamilton. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 20,000.00 (€ 24,919.12), 67% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Letitia Marion Hamilton - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wicklow Hunt Point To Point Races, which sold at auction in May 2014 for GBP 42,500.00 (€ 52,233.87).

Im Mai 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion British & Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Roundstone von Letitia Marion Hamilton zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 24.919,12) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Letitia Marion Hamilton mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Wicklow Hunt Point To Point Races beobachtet, die im Mai 2014 für GBP 42.500,00 (€ 52.233,87) versteigert wurde.
