In July 2005 Christies in London held the auction The Sunday Picture Sale - British and Continental oils,, which included the work Seaside Fair by Leslie Kent. The price achieved of GBP 456.00 (€ 661.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Other works by Leslie Kent have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2004 the work At Newton Ferrers was auctioned for GBP 513.85 (€ 770.96).
