A top price for Leslie Kent - as previously expected
In May 2004 Christies in London held the auction Maritime Pictures, which included the work At Newton Ferrers by Leslie Kent. The price achieved of GBP 513.85 (€ 770.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, At Newton Ferrers is the most expensive artwork by Leslie Kent that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion Maritime Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit At Newton Ferrers von Leslie Kent zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 513,85 (€ 770,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist At Newton Ferrers das teuerste Kunstwerk von Leslie Kent, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
