Despite a disappointment, a good price for Les Rogers
When the work It's All One Song by Les Rogers was auctioned at Phillips in London in October 2007, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 9,600.00 (€ 13,786.23). Despite this disappointing result, It's All One Song is the most expensive artwork by Les Rogers that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Les Rogers
Als die Arbeit It's All One Song von Les Rogers im Oktober 2007 bei Phillips in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 9.600,00 (€ 13.786,23) den Besitzer.
