Sold at the upper estimate price
In February last year Christies in New York held the auction Outsider Art, which included the work Untitled (2014-057), 2014 by Leopold Strobl. The auction ended at the price of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,672.84), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 1,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Leopold Strobl have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2020 the work Untitled (2015-014), 2015 was auctioned for USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,704.41).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Februar letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Outsider Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (2014-057), 2014 von Leopold Strobl zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.672,84) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 3.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Leopold Strobl konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Januar 2020 die Arbeit Untitled (2015-014), 2015 für USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.704,41) versteigert.
