The work Just Because by Leonid Borisov was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2017. It achieved a price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,416.44), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Leonid Borisov; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Black-White sold at auction in June 2013 with the realized price of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,544.10).

Die Arbeit Just Because von Leonid Borisov wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.416,44) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Leonid Borisov; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Black-White im Juni 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.544,10).
