Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June last year Bonhams in Paris held the auction Vintage posters, which included the work Je Ne Fume Que Le Nil by Leonetto Cappiello. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,400.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,530.00. Admittedly, works by Leonetto Cappiello have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Campari in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 7,012.50 (€ 7,833.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Vintage posters durch, in der auch die Arbeit Je Ne Fume Que Le Nil von Leonetto Cappiello zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.400,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.530,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leonetto Cappiello auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Campari im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.012,50 (€ 7.833,59).
