Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Contratto. Canelli by Leonetto Cappiello was sold in the Vintage posters auction at Bonhams in Paris in June last year. The price achieved of EUR 2,805.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leonetto Cappiello - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Campari, which sold at auction in December 2020 for GBP 7,012.50 (€ 7,833.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Contratto. Canelli von Leonetto Cappiello wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion Vintage posters bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.805,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Leonetto Cappiello mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Campari beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für GBP 7.012,50 (€ 7.833,59) versteigert wurde.
