Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work Cottage scene by Léonard Misonne for GBP 776.75 (€ 1,082.21). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Léonard Misonne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pieds de Géants in October 2017 with an auction result of USD 16,250.00 (€ 13,950.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2003 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Cottage scene von Léonard Misonne für GBP 776,75 (€ 1.082,21) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Léonard Misonne erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pieds de Géants im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 13.950,89).
