A top price for Leonard Major - as previously expected
The work The old busker by Leonard Major was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2003. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 646.25 (€ 927.70) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The old busker is the most expensive artwork by Leonard Major that we have observed at auctions so far.
