Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 67,897.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Léon Arthur Tutundjian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Armenian still Life On A Balcony, which sold at auction in December 2015 for GBP 125,000.00 (€ 169,743.99).
