Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2013 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art, which included the work Bedtime by Léon François Comerre. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,988.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Léon François Comerre achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French Le Triomphe Du Cygne in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 240,500.00 (€ 336,762.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bedtime von Léon François Comerre zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.988,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Léon François Comerre erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French Le Triomphe Du Cygne im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 240.500,00 (€ 336.762,22).
