This artwork by Léon Detroy achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in October 2006. In the Intérieurs auction, the work Nature morte aux pommes sold for EUR 720.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Léon Detroy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage D'Agay in October 2008 with an auction result of USD 18,750.00 (€ 14,784.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 80 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Léon Detroy erzielte im Oktober 2006 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Intérieurs wurde die Arbeit Nature morte aux pommes für EUR 720,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Léon Detroy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage D'Agay im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 14.784,73).
