Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2020 VAN HAM in Cologne held the auction Eggers Collection | ONLINE ONLY, which included the work Celliste. by Léo Maillet. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 300.00 – 500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 323.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Léo Maillet have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2005 the work Violoncelliste was auctioned for CHF 900.00 (€ 580.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2020 führte VAN HAM in Köln die Auktion Eggers Collection | ONLINE ONLY durch, in der auch die Arbeit Celliste. von Léo Maillet zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 323,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Léo Maillet konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2005 die Arbeit Violoncelliste für CHF 900,00 (€ 580,57) versteigert.
