Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Spoon (Painted In 2001) by Leng Jun was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in October 2021. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 350,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 360,000.00 (€ 40,045.01). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leng Jun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Five Pointed Star in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 1,216,000.00 (€ 909,226.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Spoon (Painted In 2001) von Leng Jun wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 350.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 360.000,00 (€ 40.045,01) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leng Jun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Five Pointed Star im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.216.000,00 (€ 909.226,86).
