Despite a disappointment, a good price for Lena Cronqvist
This work of art by Lena Cronqvist could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary auction, the work "Trolovningen" changed hands for SEK 9,200,000.00 (€ 990,642.12) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 10,000,000.00 – 12,000,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, "Trolovningen" is the most expensive artwork by Lena Cronqvist that we have observed at auction so far.
