Admittedly, works by Lemuel Francis Abbott have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of Horatio, Viscount Nelson, KB, Vice-Admiral of the White, half-length, in naval uniform -- The Kilgraston sketch, 1797 in October 2005 with an auction result of GBP 164,800.00 (€ 243,030.20).
