Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work The Bead Shop by Leendert de Koningh the Elder for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 6,883.29). This price was achieved in the auction Important Works from the Najd Collection, Part II at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Leendert de Koningh the Elder have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April 2000 by the work Shipping offshore in breezy weather at GBP 5,640.00 (€ 9,655.45).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Bead Shop von Leendert de Koningh the Elder für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 6.883,29) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Works from the Najd Collection, Part II bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Leendert de Koningh the Elder wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im April 2000 die Arbeit Shipping offshore in breezy weather mit GBP 5.640,00 (€ 9.655,45).
