Auction result well in line with expectations
The work From Line II by Lee Ufan was sold in the The Sale of the Century: An Important Corporate Collection of Prints and Multiples auction at Christies in New York in April this year. The price achieved of USD 12,600.00 (€ 11,413.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lee Ufan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work From Line, No. 760219 in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 2,165,000.00 (€ 1,740,633.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit From Line II von Lee Ufan wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion The Sale of the Century: An Important Corporate Collection of Prints and Multiples bei Christies in New York versteigert.
