A top price for Lee Sung-O - as previously expected
The work Layer, 2004 by Lee Sung-O was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2007. The price achieved of USD 4,000.00 (€ 2,813.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,500.00 – 4,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Layer, 2004 is the most expensive artwork by Lee Sung-O that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Layer, 2004 von Lee Sung-O kam im September 2007 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 2.813,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.500,00 – 4.500,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Layer, 2004 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Lee Sung-O, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
