This artwork by Lee Friedlander achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in April 2015. In the Photographs auction, the work The Little Screens sold for USD 850,000.00 (€ 761,512.27) - well above the upper estimate of USD 300,000.00. This high result makes The Little Screens the most expensive artwork by Lee Friedlander that we have observed at auctions so far.
