Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Human Boss & Drive (Two Works) by Lee Dongwook was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,762.00) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lee Dongwook have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Handle in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 583,500.00 (€ 48,037.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Human Boss & Drive (Two Works) von Lee Dongwook kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.762,00) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lee Dongwook auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Handle im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 583.500,00 (€ 48.037,50).
