Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unknown by Lee Dongwook was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2014. The price achieved of HKD 93,750.00 (€ 9,651.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lee Dongwook have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Handle in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 583,500.00 (€ 48,037.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Unknown von Lee Dongwook kam im Oktober 2014 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 9.651,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lee Dongwook auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Handle im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 583.500,00 (€ 48.037,50).
