In March last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Martial Heroes by Lee Chi Ching. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 32,760.00 (€ 3,771.25), 31% above the upper estimate. Other works by Lee Chi Ching have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 63,000.00 (€ 7,479.45) in May last year for the work Martial Arts Hero.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 31 % übertroffen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Martial Heroes von Lee Chi Ching zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 32.760,00 (€ 3.771,25) und damit 31% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Lee Chi Ching haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 63.000,00 (€ 7.479,45) im Mai letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Martial Arts Hero beobachtet.
