Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2015 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work A village on market day with poultry and other livestock by Leandro da Ponte. The price achieved of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 53,162.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Leandro da Ponte have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ritratto di un frate, probabilmente Fra Paolo Sarpi, a mezza figura, in una tunica bianca con mozzetta nera e un breviario in mano in December 2001 with an auction result of ITL 268,700,000.00 (€ 241,500.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A village on market day with poultry and other livestock von Leandro da Ponte zur Versteigerung kam.
