Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work River Scene In Saigon by Le Minh for HKD 18,750.00 (€ 2,153.64). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Le Minh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mưa Ngoài Phố (Rain Scene in Saigon), which sold at auction in April 2021 for HKD 70,125.00 (€ 7,507.98).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit River Scene In Saigon von Le Minh für HKD 18.750,00 (€ 2.153,64) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Le Minh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mưa Ngoài Phố (Rain Scene in Saigon) beobachtet, die im April 2021 für HKD 70.125,00 (€ 7.507,98) versteigert wurde.
