Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Figures In A Forest by Le Minh was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in October this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 19,200.00 (€ 2,321.88) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Le Minh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mưa Ngoài Phố (Rain Scene in Saigon), which sold at auction in April 2021 for HKD 70,125.00 (€ 7,507.98).

Die Arbeit Figures In A Forest von Le Minh kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 19.200,00 (€ 2.321,88) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Le Minh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mưa Ngoài Phố (Rain Scene in Saigon) beobachtet, die im April 2021 für HKD 70.125,00 (€ 7.507,98) versteigert wurde.
