Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Little Boats On The Saigon River by Le Minh for HKD 8,750.00 (€ 1,005.03). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Le Minh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mưa Ngoài Phố (Rain Scene in Saigon) in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 70,125.00 (€ 7,507.98).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Little Boats On The Saigon River von Le Minh für HKD 8.750,00 (€ 1.005,03) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Le Minh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mưa Ngoài Phố (Rain Scene in Saigon) im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 70.125,00 (€ 7.507,98).
