Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work (I) Sailboats (Ii) Riverside (Iii) Boat by Le Minh was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of HKD 24,000.00 – 35,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for HKD 21,250.00 (€ 2,328.22). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Le Minh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mưa Ngoài Phố (Rain Scene in Saigon), which sold at auction in April 2021 for HKD 70,125.00 (€ 7,507.98).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit (I) Sailboats (Ii) Riverside (Iii) Boat von Le Minh im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 24.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für HKD 21.250,00 (€ 2.328,22) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Le Minh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mưa Ngoài Phố (Rain Scene in Saigon) beobachtet, die im April 2021 für HKD 70.125,00 (€ 7.507,98) versteigert wurde.
