Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2010 Artcurial in Paris held the auction 1970-2010, 40 ans d’Art Graffiti, which included the work Sans Titre by Le Bateleur. The price achieved of EUR 638.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 500.00 – 700.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Le Bateleur - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Paradis, which sold at auction in December last year for EUR 1,312.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2010 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion 1970-2010, 40 ans d’Art Graffiti durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre von Le Bateleur zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 638,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Le Bateleur mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Paradis beobachtet, die im Dezember letzten Jahres für EUR 1.312,00 versteigert wurde.
