In March 2019 Christies in New York held the auction South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art, which included the work Dance Forms by Laxman Pai. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,906.31), 43% above the upper estimate. Other works by Laxman Pai have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 18,900.00 (€ 17,037.77) in March last year for the work Untitled (Houses).

Im März 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dance Forms von Laxman Pai zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.906,31) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Laxman Pai haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.900,00 (€ 17.037,77) im März letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Untitled (Houses) beobachtet.
