A top price for Laverne Nelson Black - as previously expected
The work Apache at Watering Hole 31 1/2 x 41 1/2 in. framed 38 x 48 in. by Laverne Nelson Black was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 101,175.00 (€ 98,009.30) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Apache at Watering Hole 31 1/2 x 41 1/2 in. framed 38 x 48 in. is the most expensive artwork by Laverne Nelson Black that we have observed at auctions so far.
