Despite a disappointment, a good price for Laurent Pécheux
In January 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Diana And Endymion by Laurent Pécheux for USD 197,000.00 (€ 174,490.70). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Paintings Part I at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Diana And Endymion is the most expensive artwork by Laurent Pécheux that we have observed at auction so far.
