Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Laurent Grasso achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in October 2014. In the Collection Willem Peppler auction, the work Studies into the Past sold for EUR 6,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Laurent Grasso have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Studies into the past in November last year with an auction result of EUR 50,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Laurent Grasso erzielte im Oktober 2014 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Collection Willem Peppler wurde die Arbeit Studies into the Past für EUR 6.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Laurent Grasso auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Studies into the past im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 50.400,00.
