Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Pansies, Nemesia, Phlox Drummond II, Linaria by Laurence Biddle for GBP 500.00 (€ 571.34). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Laurence Biddle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French Marigolds, Primroses, Geraniums, Violets And Other Flowers In A Bowl; And Another Similar in March 2006 with an auction result of GBP 4,320.00 (€ 6,189.78).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Pansies, Nemesia, Phlox Drummond II, Linaria von Laurence Biddle für GBP 500,00 (€ 571,34) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Laurence Biddle erzielen.
