However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Laurence Biddle - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French Marigolds, Primroses, Geraniums, Violets And Other Flowers In A Bowl; And Another Similar, which sold at auction in March 2006 for GBP 4,320.00 (€ 6,189.78).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.832,14) einen neuen Besitzer.
