Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Laurence Biddle; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot French Marigolds, Primroses, Geraniums, Violets And Other Flowers In A Bowl; And Another Similar sold at auction in March 2006 with the realized price of GBP 4,320.00 (€ 6,189.78).
