Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Behind This Wall 15 Cows Are Kept Quiet by Laure Prouvost was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,300.00 (€ 7,411.35). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Laure Prouvost - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bum Painting (1), which sold at auction in November 2020 for EUR 16,380.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Behind This Wall 15 Cows Are Kept Quiet von Laure Prouvost kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.300,00 (€ 7.411,35) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Laure Prouvost mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bum Painting (1) beobachtet, die im November 2020 für EUR 16.380,00 versteigert wurde.
