Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2006 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art, which included the work Dreamscape, Temptation by Lau Chin-Hung. The price achieved of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 6,026.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Lau Chin-Hung have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2006 the work Empty street was auctioned for HKD 78,000.00 (€ 7,834.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2006 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dreamscape, Temptation von Lau Chin-Hung zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 6.026,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Lau Chin-Hung konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2006 die Arbeit Empty street für HKD 78.000,00 (€ 7.834,65) versteigert.
