A top price for Lau Chin-Hung
The work Empty street by Lau Chin-Hung was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 78,000.00 (€ 7,834.65), 30% above the upper estimate. With this result, Empty street is even the most expensive work of art by Lau Chin-Hung that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Empty street von Lau Chin-Hung wurde im Mai 2006 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 78.000,00 (€ 7.834,65) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
