Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Larry Fink could be acquired at Christies in New York in April 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs auction, the work Social Context Portfolio, 1975-1991 changed hands for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,195.34) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Larry Fink have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 82 Photographs 1974 To 1982, (Social Graces) in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 48,000.00 (€ 38,022.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Larry Fink konnte im April 2021 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Photographs wechselte die Arbeit Social Context Portfolio, 1975-1991 für USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.195,34) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00.
