In September 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art, which included the work Untitled (Still Life) by Lancelot Ribeiro. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,040.00 (€ 5,557.42), 68% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lancelot Ribeiro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (White Landscape), which sold at auction in October 2016 for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,532.84).

Im September 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Still Life) von Lancelot Ribeiro zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.040,00 (€ 5.557,42) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Lancelot Ribeiro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (White Landscape) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.532,84) versteigert wurde.
