Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Landscape) by Lancelot Ribeiro was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2017. It achieved a price of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 3,990.69), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lancelot Ribeiro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (White Landscape), which sold at auction in October 2016 for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,532.84).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Landscape) von Lancelot Ribeiro kam im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 3.990,69) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von Lancelot Ribeiro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (White Landscape) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.532,84) versteigert wurde.
